[ Military ] Open Question : Many homeless Vietnam vets?
Yea just looked up a statistic that said almost half the homeless people in AMerica are Vietnam vets. I know coming back from war can change a person and see our government as corrupt, not caring for their lives, and getting metal disorders from the experiences they encountered during war but what happened in vietnam that was so much more traumatic than other wars. I've personally known 2 vietnam vets that committed suicide and soldiers from previous wars don't seem to be affected as much. In English class we read a book about a guy's experience in Vietnam and his platoon only killed one guy and they spent their days just basically marching throughout the country and wasting all the American citizens tax dollars on unnecessary war supplies. Was this not most soldiers experiences in Vietnam? Why are there so many homeless Vietnam vets?
