[ Friends ] Open Question : What is my friend doing this.please read.i'm confused!?
I just started a new college and recently became close friends with an older girl. I like her as a friend, however there's 1 thing about her that bothers me and confuses me to no end! When she hangs with curtain people, she will genuinely seem to enjoy enjoy their company, and will go out of her way to let them know that, (like tell them she loves being with them and to stay longer), but once they leave, she tells me a different story. For example: last weekend one guy came over her house and she kept offering him drinks, even when he was about to leave, she told him she wanted him to stay longer, but once he left she was stressed and told me she was glad he left and wanted him to leave earlier. Another time she was VERY VERY stressed about this guy always being at her house that's friends with her roommate. The entire day she vented to me about how stressed she was about him being there all the time, messing the house and always being drunk, but the next time she saw him, she begged him to come over and that his company meant the world to her. I'm so confused. I've even seen her ask guys on dates whom she told me she hated and thought were loosers. I'm so confused why she does that. Why does she do that? Is she playing games or is their a psychological reason. Is this common? Do you know anyone who does that too? Should I continue my friendship with her? Thank you.
