[ Parenting ] Open Question : for parents who suffer from mental illness?
My partner and i both really want to have kids but he suffers from ADHD and schizophrenia and i possibly suffer from bipolar (was told it's too soon to tell). i was wondering if anyone out there has raised healthy children while suffering these illnesses or other. please answer with constructive advice as i know there is a risk of the child getting on or both of these illnesses, i'm trying to be responsible and get all the facts on this i can before i fall pregnant so please don't criticise me too much.
