[ Physics ] Open Question : How is the accuracy of a clock measured?
I just saw an article that said they invented a the most accurate clock ever. It got me to thinking, at this level of accuracy the movement of the sun and earth are no longer accurate measures. How could you measure the accuracy of a clock without a more accurate clock to use as a benchmark?
[ Law %26 Ethics ] Open Question : Can a person be sued for claiming price gouging from an online dealer?
Ok I collect 1/6 scale military figures. Recently a figure was released that cost about 85 bucks. Now a particular online dealer has jacked up the price from 87.99 to 124.00 in a course of 7 days. They claim "low stock high demand". You can still get it on ebay for 87-95 bucks. While I did not directly say it to them, I did so on a online discussion board. I have been told that this "board can be sued" for libel if my comments persisted. I claim that as a Consumer I have a right to know why a product had a massive increase. I still say it is price gouging. What would a lawyer say to this? Does this online dealer have "a case" or am I justified in asking what I feel is a legitimate question?
